Ingredients required to Make Pickle
- Lemons – 7
- Lemon juice – ¼ cup (homemade)
- Chilli powder – ¼ cup (as required)
- Turmeric powder – 2 spoons
- Fenugreek seeds – 2 spoons
- Mustard seeds – 3 spoons
- Cumin seeds – 1 spoon
- Salt – ¼ cup (as required)
- Red chilli – 5
- Garlic cloves – ¼ cup
- Oil – 1 cup
Procedure to Make Pickle
- Heat pan add fenugreek seeds fry till turn brown color. And also fry 2 spoons of mustard seeds.
- Let it cool, and make powder to separate.
- Now wash lemons and dry it up with a cloth.
- Make the each lemon into 8 pieces. Heat 1 cup of oil it is heating up add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, red chilli and peeled garlic cloves.
- Fry for 2 minutes in low flame and turn off the flame. Let it cool for 15-20 minutes.
- Take a mixing bowl add lemon pieces, chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, maked fenugreek powder, and mustard powder mix once.
- Now add lemon juice mix completely keep it for 10-20 minutes.
- Then mix the oil about mixture mix well and trance for to glass jar.
- Keep it to under sunlight for 10 days. You can mix once for 2 days.
- After 10 days you can enjoy to eat lemon pickle.
- Note: When the making pickle don't touch water because it is spoil.
