Pesarattu Pulusu

Ingrediants
200 gms green gram
2 onions
2 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp coriander seeds
3 cloves
2 cinnamons
2 tsp tamarindpulp
a pinch of turmeric powder
few curry leaves
a bunch of coriander leaves, chopped
3 tsp oil
salt to taste

Process
Clean, wash and soak the green gram for 2 hours and grind it coarsely. Add little salt and fry it as a pan cake. For making the pancake : Heat 1 tsp oil on a pancake pan and put the green gram paste on it thickly and spread evenly. Roast it for 5 minutes and turn it around and roast again until the pancake becomes brown. Cut into 1 inch pieces and keep them aside. Grind onions, coriander seeds, cloves and cinnamon to paste. Heat 2 tsp oil in a pan and add curry leaves and ground paste. Add chili powder, salt, turmeric powder and fry until light brown. Add the pancake pieces and fry for 5 minutes. Add tamarind water and cook for 10 minutes. Turn off the heat,Add chopped coriander leaves. Serve with rice.
